Award winning nucleargraduates clean up!

This week was an exceptional week for past and present nucleargraduates at both Spark! and ENYGF 2017.

Previous and current nucleargraduates helped organise a very successful ENYGF (The European Nuclear Young Generation Forum) in Manchester this week. Over 500 attendees from 32 countries took part in a series of interactive workshops and technical site visits around the UK.

Cohort 9 graduate Rachel Curtis won the ENYGF poster competition with her submission “How important is a positive nuclear safety culture in ensuring the continued success of the nuclear industry?”

Spark! 2017
Current nucleargraduate Ben Govier Moore has won first place in the Spark! Contest 2017. He fought off strong competition from young industry professionals from both France and Britain, including his fellow nucleargraduates Ben Percy and Jessica Taylor who finished third.

This year’s competition focused on SMR’s – Small Modular Reactors

Congratulations to current nucleargraduates Jonathon Bew, Jamie Graham and James Ferriday on also reaching the final.
