SME Success

Cohort 10 presented their SME business proposals to a panel of industry professionals last week in Birmingham. As part of their Footprints programme all nucleargraduates are required to set up, run and close down a small business during their time on the programme. This develops their understanding of how businesses work from a commercial aspect.

All four teams pitched their business plans and answered challenging questions about their proposals in order to secure funding to get their businesses off the ground.

The panel were impressed by the high standard of the pitches and were delighted to award all teams with the funding they requested.

We are looking forward to watching their businesses grow. Watch this space for artisan soap, bath bombs, reed diffusers and chocolate covered coffee beans!
