A team of nucleargraduates has developed Critical Paths – a pack of school resources about the nuclear industry.
It aims to raise awareness of the industry and the careers that it can offer to young people. The team has trialed the materials in schools in the Greater Manchester region, reaching over 200 pupils. Pupil feedback has shown that 65% view the nuclear industry more positively as a result of the sessions and 30% would now consider a career in nuclear! A word cloud has been produced highlighting words that were used to describe the sessions.
